NorthGroup Tutoring offers a range of subjects including Math, English, Science, and more. Our tutors use a variety of proven methods geared toward each individuals learning needs. Students are provided with study strategies designed to help them develop their own problem solving techniques.
We also offer flexible session meetings. Our one-on-one sessions are generally one hour long and scheduled for your convenience. We offer evening sessions Monday through Friday with morning and afternoon sessions available by appointment.
Santana Barnes is owner and founder of NorthGroup Tutoring. She is a 12 years certified teacher with the State of Michigan and holds a Masters degree in Education as well as a Bachelors degree in Science and Math and an Associates degree in Business. She has taught 3rd Grade class and has expanded her teaching abilities to included services as a personal tutor.
I have been tutoring for more than ten years. I tutor all ages from age six to adult. I have worked with students that have attended Baker, University of Michigan-Flint, Mott Community College, Dye, Bendle, Southwestern, Bryant Center and many more in the genesee county school area.
